What morning ritual do you turn to as soon as you wake up?
Maybe you jump out of bed, a whirlwind of showers, outfit changes, making lunches as you get the family going out the door.
Maybe upon waking up you instantly reach for your iPhone, check emails, the news, Instagram and Facebook.
OR
Maybe ………. you start the day off on a more soothing note with yoga, journalling; mediation, and a nice cup of coffee.
For me I always set my alarm a half hour before I need to get things going; knowing that the house will be quiet and peaceful. My mornings always start with a warm cup of coffee in bed, listening to some relaxing background music and meditating—-setting my intentions for the day. Mornings are such special times and must be cherished.
Some of you may know of Esther Hicks (inspirational speaker and author), she teaches that when we sleep, we release resistance to thoughts. That means that when we wake up, we have a clean slate in front of us. A chance to release the negativity from the day before and start with a fresh attitude. I LOVE THIS!!
So Friends, I encourage you to think of starting a new routine with the changing of the season. If you already have one, how about adding a new ritual to it? Personally, I have now added morning mantras.
I use them first thing in the morning while I’m brushing my teeth (and sometimes during the day if I need alittle pick me up) and I truly find that they set the tone for my day no matter how I feel when I first wake up.
I hope that these mantras below (brought to you by Gabrielle Bernstein from her new book “Super Attractor”) bring you as much peace and joy as they bring me. xo – Corinne
