Today I’m showing my favourite cropped denim jean for Summer. Now that Summer will officially start this Friday, I’m in full summer wardrobe mode, and a great fitting pair of cropped jeans are synonymous with Summer. I’m sure all of you have at least one pair of cropped jeans in your closet? THIS PAIR I am sporting is my new favourite from Paige Jeans. They are lightweight with a little bit of stretch. I love these jeans with short jackets, blouses and/or tops tucked in. The only thing I wouldn’t wear with them are longer tops. In my opinion the tapered/cropped pant leg with a longer blouse would cut-you-off. Making your legs look short (in my opinion) UNLESS you wear a nice wedge heel to elongate the legs. Wear with heels, sneakers or sandals, they are the perfect addition to your Summer wardrobe.
Living in Canada, I usually order from Nordstrom’s or The Bay—-both have awesome selections of white and other color jeans (and sizes) and they are always adding new brands. I buy so many of my jeans (and other pieces) from both those stores for that very reason. It’s so easy to just order them online as well. If you are like me I need to order 2 or 3 pairs in a few different sizes and return what doesn’t work. I also like my mirror and lights at home better than in a dressing room and sometimes, a glass sauvignon blanc too!
I have to just say isn’t this yellow top so cute? When I saw it, it reminded me of warm, sunny Summer days. I just had to buy it. Yellow seems to have suddenly sprung up everywhere we look and it just makes me feel happy and vibrant. It can be tricky to style but it’s all in finding the right shade of yellow that will compliment your skin tone.
Paired with some python Steve Madden flats for a punch, this look is easy, refreshing and perfect for running errands, lunch dates, grocery shopping whatever you have on the go.
