It is always nice to get together with family and friends. Something I tried was an aromatherapy hot stone massage. Omgoodness let me tell you, it is a gentle experience for the mind and body. Hot stone massages are supposed to help with relaxation, muscle tension, and sleep. It was amazing and I will definitely be doing them more often! Self-care is just as important as fashion & style and I do hope you all carve out some time just for you! So today I’m talking about the 5 essential jackets your closet needs for Spring and Summer.
THE 5 ESSENTIAL JACKETS
Here in Central Alberta, we sometimes experience bi-polar Spring weather, so there is still a need for jackets. I need a jacket year round even when its hottest during our warm Canadian summers. The air-conditioning in every building you go into is cranked up and I am always cold. I think there are different types of jackets you always will need in your closet.
MOTO JACKET
First, is the one I am wearing above, the Moto jacket. Whether you get it in a fabric or leather, it can go with any bottom or dress and always look chic. This particular one is from Mackage and is in leather. This will go with everything!
JEAN JACKET
The second essential jacket is the jean jacket. Whether you get it in denim or white denim (or even coloured denim) this jacket will go with everything in your closet as well.
RAINCOAT
Third, is a raincoat. May showers are still sure to happen, and everyone needs a raincoat in their life. I found this cute one a few years back from Lululemon and will go with everything because it is black. I have found that Zara is also a good place to grab an inexpensive raincoat as well.
TRENCH COAT
Fourth, is the trench style coat and this is one style that I am loving this season! Traditional trench coats in khaki, navy and black are always great, but how about a gorgeous lavender for Spring? You all need this coat. Mine is from Banana Republic.
MILITARY JACKET
The last jacket that I think is essential is a military green style jacket. This is one style that I am missing from my closet, and I am getting one this year. This style of jacket has stood the test of time in creating a fashionable look and are considered a classic that you will have for years.
